The firm’s intellectual property practice provides both contentious and non-contentious services.

Litigious work includes trademark, copyright and patent infringement disputes. We work regularly with private investigators to secure evidence of infringement, and to institute civil, administrative and criminal proceedings against the infringers. We negotiate royalty payments with licensing societies and are well-versed with pre-emptive remedies such as Anton Piller orders, criminal search warrants and injunctions.

Advisory work includes assisting with documentation required for the assignment and licensing of trademark rights and advising on distributorship, franchising and licensing arrangements.
