Boon On has been practising in the area of dispute resolution and construction law since 2003. He is recognised by the Singapore Academy of Law as a Senior Specialist in Construction Law.

Boon On is also Adjudicator with the Singapore Mediation Centre. He has been involved in many adjudication cases, as counsel and adjudicator.

He has advised and represented a wide array of clients including government authorities, developers, contractors, major international corporations as well as individuals in a wide variety of disputes such as commercial disputes, cross-border contractual disputes, engineering and construction disputes. Boon On has also advised and represented a wide array of clients in the drafting and negotiation of various constructions and
engineering contracts.

Some significant matters that Boon On has worked on include arbitration in relation to claims arising out of the collapse of tunnelling work, claims arising out of the construction of a large power plant project in Indonesia and claims arising out of a railway construction project and advise on contract documentation for a power plant project in Indonesia.

Boon On graduated from the National University of Singapore in June 2002 with a Bachelor of Laws LLB (Honours). He was called to the Bar in May 2003.

In addition, Boon On holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from the National University of Singapore. He practised engineering for about 4 years before his admission to read law. His engineering background proves invaluable to many of his clients especially in dealing with complex technical issues in engineering and construction matters.

Boon On also holds a Master of Science in Applied Finance from the National University of Singapore.
